This Page is where you'll find videos and information related to the 2010 Secondary School Graduation. If you haven't seen the video immediately below, that's a great place to start! Videos and photos of the graduation itself are lower on the page.
This video was prepared to celebrate the first secondary school graduation. It is titled, "Beginnings" Here is a link to the video on YouTube, due to some of the content in the video it is difficult to view the video on this page. To return here, click "Back" in your browser. Below is the same video, "Beginnings," as at left. However, due to certain restrictions, our German friends were not able to view it on YouTube. So we modified the soundtrack and published it here -- it has an African music soundtrack. Scroll down the page for more videos and photos!! The video to the left is a brief compilation of clips from Graduation Day. Did you know that you can click on the small arrows in the lower right of a YouTube video window, and it will enlarge? However, depending upon your connection speed, that may cause the video to hesitate. Hit 'ESC' and it will return to its smaller size The video at right is included primarily to 'show off' the new Lion of Judah Academy Chapel! This video was taken on Graduation Day. Earlier in the fall we didn't think it would be possible to complete the chapel by Graduation...and getting the roof erected in time seemed an engineering and financial impossibility! But God provided! Try to imagine the challenges of engineering and constructing a building like this in the Tanzania bush! God certainly has provided! The Secondary School Graduates Singing Tanzanian renditions of "Give Thanks" and "Because He Lives"...Enjoy! The Secondary School Graduates singing a special graduation song: "Today is a Special Day." In the later part of the video you will see Lynn, along with some special guests from the U.S. Most of the Tanzanians seated at the head table are either Head Teachers or members of the Board of Trustees The new Lion of Judah Academy chapel isn't completely finished, but it was nonetheless jam-packed with enthusiastic students, families, and guests, for the first secondary school graduation. The new chapel from the front Dan Tubbs, headmaster of The King's Academy in Mohrsville, Pennsylvania, gave the graduation address. The Lion of Judah Academy and The King's Academy are Sister Schools. |
