The Lion of Judah Academy is governed by its board of trustees. Each member of this group of men and women is strongly committed to the goals and values of the school, and the board is instrumental to the school's success.

Predominantly African nationals, the board members individually are well-educated and talented Christian believers who believe in the mission and ministry of The Lion of Judah Academy, and are working together to see it effectively fulfill its vision.

The Board of Trustees is registered with the government of Tanzania and authorized by the government to oversee the affairs of the school. The registration granted to the board allows it not only to operate primary schools, but virtually any type of educational institution, including secondary schools, vocational and trade schools, language schools, even a seminary! This opens up amazing possibilities for the future.

Of the seven trustees, all but one is a teacher, and that one is a physician (who helps provide high quality medical care to the students and staff!) Two are pastors. Five are men, two are women. All board members hold Master's degrees or the equivalent from accredited colleges in Africa or the U.S. All board members have received education and training in the U.S. or another country. All speak English well.

The board of trustees is one of the school's great assets.
