The Lion of Judah Academy is located in the small rural village of Bulima, Tanzania, in East Africa. This is in the bush of north central Tanzania, directly on the shore of Lake Victoria. In fact, in several of the photos found on this website there appears to be a very blue horizon in the background which is, in fact, Lake Victoria!
The site of the Academy is located in Mwanza Region. The city of Mwanza is located on Lake Victoria about 100 kilometers (approximately 60 miles) southwest of the school.
Bulima village is also the home of Nassa Mission Station, Nassa Theological College, and Bulima Local Church, the first church established by Africa Inland Mission missionaries to Tanzania about 100 years ago.
The Serengeti National Park, one of the richest wildlife preserves in Africa, is less than one hour away!
