These photos were taken in July, 2007, when the first buildings of the new secondary school were being plotted and staked out, in preparation for digging the foundations. The ground has already been partially cleared. The large roundish trees are mango trees, and are highly valued because they are not only beautiful, but produce lots of wonderful -- and valuable -- mangos. Mango trees are NEVER cut down...we always build around them!
The same area, taken on about October 1, 2007. As of November 7, the roof is nearly completed. These buildings will be occupied early in 2008.
