Two workteams went to the school in 2005, a small team in the summer, and a larger team in October. A tremendous amount of work was accomplished.

In the summer, focus was placed on setting up the school library, and with this team's initiative library shelves were constructed and hundreds -- perhaps thousands -- of books were processed, laminated and prepared for use.
One member of the summer team was a musician and spent a great deal of time teaching music classes and giving keyboard lessons to older students. In addition, lots of "odd jobs" were accomplished.

In October, a group of eight members from the Sherman, Connecticut, Congregational Church went out with Lynn and Hart Inlow to spend nearly two weeks at the school. More work was accomplished on the school library. In addition a water storage tank was installed and put to work -- giving immediate relief to long standing water shortage problems.

School playground equipment, and a flagpole, were erected. Scores of uniforms were made for the children. Classes and small group lessons were given in sewing, music, Bible and Christian education, computer, and other subjects. An art teacher on the team went from class to class giving art enrichment lessons. And lots of paints and other tasks were accomplished. One team member worked almost constantly typing exams, lessons and correspondence -- in English and Swahili!

Work teams are being planned for 2006!!
